PMAP Promotes IT Literacy Among Filipino Youth

 Representing the People Management Association of Philippines (PMAP) is Netopia President and CEO George Tan (left) with HR Officer Mina Singson formally turning over PMAP “Help Kids Become Like You” eLearning Scholarship Certificate to Caritas Manila Executive Director Father Anton Pascual (right) in a ceremony held in Netopia head office in Pasig City in December 2009. Recipient of the eLearning Scholarship Certificates are 33 Caritas youth who will have their online training at Netopia. Netopia is a bonafide member of PMAP.

 The People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP) through Netopia Internet Café has initiated a campaign aimed at improving IT literacy among the youth in the country. The organization has chosen Caritas Manila to be the recipient of IT Literacy Scholarship Grant. The outreach program was dubbed “Help Kids Become Like You”.
